A question about pathogen?
  • what dose an antibody attach to when identifying a pathogen.

    a. lymphocyte
    b. antigen
    c. neutrophil

  • antigen

  • its the antigen. basically, there are antigens on the surface of every pathogen. the antigen causes the prodution of the antibody. the new antibody then attaches to the antgen on the surface of the pathogen.

the lymphocyte (type of white blood cell) produces the antibody

  • Antigen

  • definitely an ANTIGEN....

lymphocites are not bacteria that can harm the body.. they are merely assistents in the lymph glands (just below your neck)

neutrophil is nothing to worry about either
