» Bought Ridgid sump. Having a problem? Help?

Our sump died yesterday so we replaced it with a Ridgid SP-500. 1/2 HP. (Old one was a Sears 1/3 HP). Supposed to handle 4,400 GPH. However, it took FOREVER to empty out my 17 X 22" well. I do realize that the 4,400 gph number varies with the height, etc. it has to discharge but this is WAY off. We stood there and watched the water go down. I pretty much expected the water to vanish relatively instantly. Like a minute. Nope! Slow as molasses. We made sure the check valve was working ok. We did put the pump in for a while before we foolishly taped up the little hole in the tube. Hi everyone! I recently started a crib project that uses threaded steel inserts. I have never used these before and was wandering if there is any secrets to installing them. I drilled the holes the size specified for the inserts, but they seem to not want to go all the way in. They protrude about 1/8 of an inch. The holes are 1" deep and the inserts are 3/4" long. Please give any tips or suggestions you might have. I'm starting my indexing offline inside my /archives/ directory. From there, there are directories /contracts, /forumminutes, /generalminutes, /grievances, and /newsletters. Under Categories in the configuration I start with Contracts with pattern: /contracts/ I do the same for all the folders, then have a default category as Misc. Archives Currently I only have one file to search (I'm debugging). It's a .doc inside the /contracts folder. » Over head drum trap cleaning

Hi, A recent tub blockage was between drum trap and 4". Very short run but drum trap was in the basement with cover on the bottom. 1 1/2" pipe with 3 90's. I tried K-26, K-38 & K-50 with every tool and cable size made and could not get past 2nd 90. I got the hair ball out first time with K-26 but I should be able to go all the way to the 4". So as was recommended by gurus in this forum, I took some shots of the fireworks in RAW, but I don't know what to do now??depending on your camera, you need to get a program that will then read the RAW files. I'm thinking of dumping some older MF film equipment and keeping the Contax, and perhaps selling some older lenses I don't use (like for my old Pentax K1000 and two Pentax ME Supers) and trade in for (and probably add a bit of $$ for) a couple of Zeiss lenses (used) for the contax. Hello, I am opening a word document from 2 machines. Eventhough no visible differences in formatting at first glance, when inspected more deeply, I find differences in the look of the word document. For example, say the 10th line in the word document shows as 'At 1.3" ' in machine1. The same line in machine2 shows as 'At 1.4". (lines 1 through 9 shows same "At position"). This continues for other lines also randomly. Say 21th line starts At 5.5" in machine1 and it starts at 5.6" in machine2. Both machines are identical. I have a 5 gallon tank with 1 Betta, and the only decoration i have is gravel, and I was wondering how often should I change my Filter Cartridge, because my betta never makes the tank dirty.... And I was wondering if i can rinse the Filter Cartridge with DECHLORINATED water, and reuse it.... ?1 betta will not produce much waste, so you should be okay rinsing your filter out once per month. I would also change 25% of the water monthly. you sure can rinse and re-use filters, as long as they are in good condition, not fraying etc. i would recommend using dechlorinated water to rinse it because untreated water deactivates the carbon in your filter.Rinse it once a month and you should be good. hi does anyone know if its possible to set the background colour of the html page from flash? im making a transparent swf and i want to provide colour swatches that the user can change the background on the movie. i have explored other ways of doing this, but for what i making it makes more sense to have the html background change. ideally i would like it to be a gradient too. i have used a repeating background image in dreamweaver at the moment. is there anyway actionscript can control css? sorry still a bit of a nube. using cs3 at the mo. cheers, cewFlash by itself can´t but a combination of Flash calling a JavaScript (with a parameter) which changes the CSS will do the trick !
